Holocaust survivors, Holocaust victims - a message from the Managing Director

The Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims' Assets has been charged with one of the most important national tasks ever - providing closure for thousands of Holocaust victims' heirs by reinstating them with assets located in Israel, as well as providing welfare aid to Holocaust survivors. The task is not an easy one - not at all. The tragedy of this affair has only recently impinged upon public awareness, and the subject has until now been sorely neglected. This does not make the job of identification and restitution any easier. Nevertheless, we are determined to bring about the historical justice that was promised upon the establishment of this Company.
To this end, we are working tirelessly, both in Israel and abroad, to locate the legal beneficiaries of Holocaust victims' assets, as well as to properly identify the assets themselves - this so that the assets entrusted to our Company find their way to the rightful owners. We will employ any means at our disposal to achieve our end, whether they be public and legal struggles against companies and entities that continue holding the assets, or whether it be the legislation of applicable laws. The company engages in publicity activities in Israel and around the world so that every potential beneficiary will be able to close that tragic circle and receive his or her family assets located in Israel. The Company also initiates international investigations to locate additional assets in Israel and return them to their owners. And all of this is done with a true sense of mission and responsibility for historical justice.
The Company is aware of the difficult conditions under which Holocaust survivors live in Israel, and takes care to inform them of assets and money for which no heirs are found. Each year, funds are used for direct aid and the support of these survivors, as well as for the promotion of various projects that may help Holocaust survivors to live their last days in honor. We see this aid as an important part of our activities, and part of that historical justice for which we are responsible.
On a personal note, let me say that I consider myself honored to hold this title of national calling, and I am glad that after so many years dedicated to career, I can now contribute my part to this important task of righting an historical wrong that was done to the survivors of the Holocaust and the heirs of its victims.
I take this opportunity to call upon the public to help us fulfill our mission of locating the legal heirs of those owners of asset who found their death under the Nazi regime. If you are the offspring of the generation that suffered the Holocaust or know of relatives who lived in Europe during that period, look for the names of your loved ones in the list of asset owners that can be found on out site, and help us do this historical deed and bring closure to so many.
